today's presentations were interesting and clear.i've learned new things (in word i've learned how to make a table of contents)also in games i had an idea how to use these games in my class room. in addition to having important websites to use in future... thanks every body

ReplyDeleteFaya's introduction of the Word was great, I was finally able to use the built in table of content (Y)
Sajeda's presentation about Drill & Practice was very informative, the websites she provided us are beautiful, I know I will find a way to use them in my classroom.
Farah's presentation on the Educational Games was very entertaining, I now know the impotence of using games in class, in the right amount.
Nadine also provided additional sites with more entertaining games. Also the do your game site will very helpful.
During this session I've been introduced to 3 tools Word Processing (already have an idea about it and use it usually), Drill and Practice, Instructinal games.

Definitions, characteristics of each tool and their effects in education positively or negatively
which as a teacher should have idea about in additions to the imporatant links that I've been introduced to and I am going to use in my class especially the educational game sites...
Drill and practice was one of the educative and instructional procedure. Sajida provided it in an easy going way that encourages us to listen.
ReplyDeleteWord is one of the most essential programs that has diverse use. Faya was a good instructor where she provided an easy way to integrate the table of cotent that is widely used in our projects and daily educative work.
Farah and Nadine were great in presenting new educational games that facilitate learning especially in lower educational levels.

ReplyDeleteSajida introduced the drill and practice which i found so benefecial.grill and practice is a computer instructional technique, promotes acquisition of knowledge through repetitive practice.it presents items for students, gives feedbackon correctness. sajida also offered some websites that we can benefit from.
Presentation no 2:Word Processing: a term that means using a computer to create, edit and print documents. word processing is the most common between software tools. i learned how to insert a table of content using the microsoft word which is going to help me alot in preparing my presentations and lesson plans.
Presentation no 3: nadine and farah presented the instructional games. it's a software designed to encourage students motive to include learning within fun activities. it also provide skills for the user. we can also use instructional games. but i was surprised that some schools are forbiding the use of tese games. anyways wish all good luck u all deserve very high grades.

Farah and Nadine's presentation was very entertaining. Nadine has very good presentation skills and Farah gave a very clear explanation. I got introduced to interesting games which i might use later on.

Sajida introduced a technology tool that i never knwe before. it was a very interesting presentation that was supported by exmaples.

ReplyDeleteIt was a very good presentation. Sajeda gave us full clarification of this istructional tool (phases of using it: explaining why answers are wrong and giving immediate feedback). I learned from Sajeda when and how to use it, for example for my students it can be a support for them especially for those who need more practice to grab the objective. Thanks Sajeda, Good Job!!!!
Farah and Nadine: Games
Their presentation was very good. The websites that Nadine provided are beneficial and we can construct one of our own that suits our students and the curriculum. Farah gave us a great theoretical information about the pedagogical use of games.Good Job Girls, Keep it up!!!!!

The technology tools presentations were amazing today.
ReplyDeleteFaya’s presentation about word was very simple and direct to the point, i’ve been using word long time ago and I’m very skillful but benefited a lot from the practice exercise about the table of content and discovered how simple it is to apply it. Thank you Faya it was great.
Sajida did a wonderful presentation. Drill and practice is a new technology tool and never known to me, I’ve learned a lot, especially when we accessed the sites and showed us live how to apply this tool. Also she was very simple and professional while presenting. Thank you Sajida for your efforts.
The Instructional games done by Farah and Nadine were excellent and full of new information. I already have an idea about it, but became very clear now since it was a very organized and enriching presentation on all levels.
The discussions in class during presentations were very beneficial and I like the most that there were different perspectives but always debatable and allow me to take every point into consideration.

The Drill an Practice presentation by Sajeda was very interesting , I enjoyed the presentation and learned from it alot.I liked the idea that this tool provides feedback. The sites she entered were really good!

The three presentations were clear, direct, and organized. The presenters were great in delivering the info about the different tools to us. It was an interesting session with interesting and beneficial presentations. Faya, Sajeda, Nadine and Farah all did an excellent job. Thanks girls!!
